I collaborate because of the beautiful exchange that unfolds, it inspires, everyone involved feels connected on a very deep level. From this shared experience flows new ideas, new ways of seeing, and the quiet satisfaction of work that came from kindred spirits working in harmony. In the end, the keeper receives something that could not have existed without this particular meeting of hands and vision.

Imagine your work illuminated from within
If you are a visual artist, poet or writer with work ripe to explore a new form on an illuminated canvas of washi and wood, there is a path here worth exploring. This is a rare opportunity for your work to become an integral part of my lanterns and lamps and what they do to a room, and the souls within it.
You will receive a commission for every lamp sold carrying your work. Your practice is featured on the Collaborations gallery page — named, linked, visible to my audience, which often leads to commissions for artwork to be used on their lamps. For the right collaboration, I will build a custom lamp around your artwork entirely, a more involved creative partnership.
