Susanna’s illustrations and artwork work well with most lantern and lamp collections. 

I am working with Susanna to bring more of her wonderful illustrations here. For now there is just this one very special illustration.

I include $25 in all my lantern and lamp pricing where there is a collaboration involved. This is paid directly to the artist upon a sale. I have found this covers almost all situations and allows for a main focal artwork piece and then some secondary artwork for the sides and back, depending on the collection being decorated.

A little bit about me…

I was born in Burgos, Spain in 1969, but I moved to Valencia where I studied Fine Arts (sculpture and engraving). There I met Leo Gómez with whom I did several art exhibitions, published two children books, auto-edited a wooden game for kids and had a daughter.

I joined LLADRÓ’s design team in 1997 and from 2006 to 2017 I headed the Design department of the company.

I also work as a freelance illustrator, and this part of my job is what I am showing in this website.

From 1999 to 2002 I used to do a weekly collaboration with a couple of magazines (economy and fashion) but after the birth of my daughter I decided to focus on children illustration and that is what I have been working on so far. I have published several books with IMAGINARIUM and I have collaborated as well with french company FLY developing a collection based on one of my characters.

I started to make patterns out of my drawings, I founded it quite fun and as a result I have a collecttion of patterns that is growing bigger.

One of my last collaborations was with swedish company IKEA, creating a range of textile products for babies.

Now I’m preparing a new book with Leo and we keep on thinking and working in new projects that sooner or later will become real.
