Once you add this lantern/lamp to your order, a form will prompt you for further information:

• Indicate the paper type - Japanese Katazome-shi or Chiyogami, or plain washi. If Japanese Katazome-shi or Chiyogami, please be sure to take a look at the options available here - Artwork/Papers (new window opens).
  
  If opting for plain washi paper…. the artwork you would like, or whether you will provide your own. If providing your own artwork, please be sure to read this guide (new window opens).
  
  PLEASE NOTE: in the galleries below, not all the available artwork is shown, I’ve provided a sampling. Please explore the artist’s website via links found in the “Artwork/Papers” section to see other options (new window opens).

• Select the wood you wish to use for the main frame

• For printed artwork, included in the cost is a Japanese washi paper, as seen used in slides 5-10. Other options are available, such as those shown towards the end of the slideshow/gallery (3 options). These papers add an additional cost ($6-$20), depending on selection.

• Indicate what finish you wish, wax or no finish (other finishes are not currently offered)

• I offer the option to include a polyester film “backing” to any or all of the faces. This is not my preference, but I realize this design is somewhat fragile and can be easily damaged if care is not taken. It is fairly easy to replace a damaged face, but if you prefer not to go this route, you have this option. I use a product called Dura-Lar, it has a cost and doubles the assembly time to apply the printed artwork. Tick this option in the form if you wish to explore this with me.
